Improved CO2 balance thanks to OTTO FUCHS
The weight-optimised forged wheels by OTTO FUCHS lower fuel consumption and thus help reduce emissions. On 18 October 2017 the company received the Best Practice Award for outstanding climate protection contributions in the non-ferrous metals industry.
Metalle pro Klima (Metals pro Climate) is a climate protection initiative made up of 18 leading companies from the non-ferrous metals industry. Ulrich Becker, Vice Chairman of Metalle pro Klima: “The products we manufacture in our industry are real problem solvers when it comes to climate protection. They are essential for reducing CO2 emissions in a wide range of industrial sectors.”
Richard A. Hussmann (Member of the Board) accepted the award on behalf of all OTTO Fuchs employees involved in developing and manufacturing the forged wheels (see photo, seventh from left).
